I am available for funeral services in Hamilton and the greater Waikato.
Funeral services are a vital part of life, and I am dedicated to providing families with memorable farewells for loved ones.
I can create a service that honours your family member, and provides you with an outlet to pay tribute to them in the best way possible. Each funeral service is unique, and can be as simple or as involved as you want it to be.
I will work with the Funeral Director of your choice and can provide you with readings, poems, prayers etc. I will provide you with a full copy of the service afterwards.
You can be assured of caring, warm, professional service, and I will do my very best to ensure the path through this difficult time is made as smooth as possible.
I am also available to discuss funeral arrangements at any time, so that your loved ones know exactly what your wishes are when the time comes.
Fees for funeral are dependent on location, but as a rough guideline, most Waikato funerals are $350 – $400, and other areas can be quoted depending on distance.
I have conducted many funerals over the years and there are a number of references below. I am happy to connect you with other families, and Funeral Directors I have worked with.

“We met Kay five years ago when she was recommended as a Funeral Celebrant. My gorgeous 93- year old Nana had died, we were planning her funeral and we wanted a Lady for a classy dame! We weren’t disappointed – Kay was amazing. Sometimes when you go to funerals and whether it’s a Celebrant, Priest or Minister, if they didn’t know the person you can usually tell coz they waffle on and we didn’t want that for Nana. We only met her once before the funeral but by the end of the day she had become a lifelong friend – not only to us but to many of our friends. Since then she has been the celebrant at friends weddings and also at my dad’s funeral in May 2009. At my Nan’s funeral, Dad said “she’s the one for me and don’t forget it”! Nita
“Thank you so much on behalf of all of us for your guidance, advice and involvement in preparing for our mother’s recent funeral. We were very happy to meet you despite the sad circumstances, and there was much joy and warmth as we told the many stories about mother to you. We were all touched as to how receptive you were to our reflections and memories. Your speech, with its clarity, simplicity and warmth dwelt on our loving memories of one who was greatly loved by us all, and who will be sadly missed. Thank you so much for helping us to pay tribute to a beloved mother in a way that we all felt so comfortable with. Gary, Heather and Jenny.
I missed saying “Thank you” for your contribution to my brother’s send-off the other day.
You were wonderful. Your bringing together of all the aspects of his death was inspirational. Your inclusion of the final quote gave further depth to our learning from his sad departure.
Once again, many thanks for a wonderful contribution. Dan
Kay – Your service for our Aunt was truly lovely. We couldn’t have dreamt of anything more fitting for a unique and special lady. Don and Karen
